It was an honour to welcome Trixie Whitley to Frankfurt. Her latest album “Lacuna” was produced by Little Shalimar of The Jewels, making her electric rhythms and her fascinating voice create more than ripples in your tummy.
Whether it is motherhood or just a natural progression of her Rhythm’n’Blues to an edgy Indy Rock genre, the Belgian who now resides in Brooklyn, is the perfect example of what a true musician is, or rather, should be. Her musical background- an artist who actually plays drums, guitar and piano, dances, dj’s- brings back a true belief in what we love in music: honesty and creativity.
Although not typically our type of genre, we urge you to indulge into the creative world of Trixie Whitley.
