Dead Can Dance planned to tour Germany this past spring, but Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard had to postpone and we are thrilled to say that they will be playing live next year with their “Europe -2022” tour.
From their beginnings playing pubs in Melbourne in the early 1980s they have always added to their repertoire by incorporating rock music, neo-classical tunes, world music, even music from the Middle Ages. If you don’t believe me you must go and see for yourself- Perry and Gerrard will transport you into a magical world of sounds, cleverly using African percussion instruments, didgeridoos or Asian strings. Always clever and innovative they have the most interesting audience who go absolutely crazy when they play songs from ‘The Serpent’s Egg’ or ‘Into the Labyrinth’.
All original tickets are still valid, but I urge you to buy yours if you want to listen to some inspirational music which has been around for decades but always delivers something absolutely new and unique.
